About Rorian Pratyaksa

Rorian Pratyaksa is a Co-Founder of Woobiz, a company dedicated to advancing micro-entrepreneurship and digital economy ecosystem in Indonesia. During Indonesia's ASEAN 2023 chairmanship, Rorian was appointed as the Co-Chair of ASEAN Youth Agenda Indonesia 2023, where he played a key role in shaping the agenda for the ASEAN youth. In 2021, he was selected to be part of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Permanent Committee, serving as the Vice-Head of the Permanent Committee for New Venture Acceleration in the Communication and Informatics work section. Rorian's educational background spans across multiple countries. He spent his early childhood in Jakarta, Indonesia, before pursuing studies abroad at the age of 15. He attended high school in both Indonesia and the United States, and subsequently completed his university education in the Philippines. At De La Salle University in Manila, he graduated with honors, earning a double degree in Economics and Finance. As part of his academic journey, Rorian participated in the prestigious Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) program, representing De La Salle University. Remarkably, at the age of 23, he became the youngest Indonesian speaker at the HPAIR main conference, showcasing his passion for international relations. In 2016, Rorian was awarded an Australia Awards Scholarship by the Australian Government, further enriching his educational experiences. His exceptional performance was recognized with the "Grand Winner" distinction at graduation. In 2019, he received the Australian Alumni of The Year - Outstanding Young Alumni award, solidifying his reputation as an exceptional young professional. Prior to co-founding Woobiz, Rorian held prominent positions in various organizations. He served as the Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer at PayAccess, where he played a vital role in building a mobile payment ecosystem with over half a million customers and more than SME partners. Rorian also gained valuable experience as an Analyst at PwC and as an Apprentice for the Corporate Finance team at ACCRA Law's Manila office. In recognition of his achievements, Rorian was featured on the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list in the Finance and VC category in 2018.
