About Rory Ashdown

I am currently a practice owner and general dentist in Cheyenne, WY. As a family dentist in a rural area, I get the opportunity to practice all aspects of dentistry due to the low availability to specialists. My business partner and I run one of the busiest practices in the area all while attaining high quality dentistry. We pride ourselves on the great reputation we have in the community where we treat the patient the best that a dentist could. One of my favorite things to do is to see a new patient who is in a difficult situation. Using my brain to come up with new ways to achieve a common goal of getting the patient back to an esthetic and functional smile is a challenge I welcome. I enjoyed my time at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and am grateful for the high level education I received there. While in dental school, I tried to stay focused on the fact that I would use these skills for the rest of my life and I needed to learn as much as possible while in school. I made sure to do well in dental school as to not close any doors as far as specializing. In the end, the sobering thought of never being able to do a large esthetic case again made me realize that general dentistry was a great fit for me. I love the practice and location where I currently am and look forward to living out my career here.
