About Rory Currin

Full time freelancer since 2017 and have been working in the TV and multimedia industry for 10 years. I have worked in multiple aspects but primarily as a camera operator, vision controller and video editor. Having worked on international TV shows such as Love Island UK and Australia as well as Survival of the fittest, I have a good knowledge of different working environments and equipment. I am also the owner of RMC Videographers in Somerset West and we specialize in multicamera shooting and editing of dance shows, school concerts, live theatre and drama productions. Along with shooting and editing we also have live streaming services for funerals, school awards and events. We moved in this direction due to the Covid Restrictions and the number of people allowed at events. One of my proudest achievements was getting to be a director/vision mixer on a few Love Island episodes and received excellent feedback and the crew were extremely happy with my work and I hope I get to do more of that in the future. I absolutely love this industry and the places it takes you and the people you get to meet. I am looking forward to growing and learning and being challenged as I grow in my career.
