About Rory Doyle

My name is Rory Doyle. I am a Software Developer by day and Barrister at Law student by night and I have over 5 years experience in the technology sector. I currently as a backend software engineer, primarily utilising a Java tech stack, at HubSpot where I have contributed significantly to the company's mission through my work on large-scale data migrations and in leveraging AI technologies to enhance our service offerings to marketers. Over the course of my career thus far I have also gained valuable management experience as a software team lead at Insight Centre for Data Analytics, where I led a group of full-stack developers in the development of a new product for the credit lending sector. Technologies we used included Python, Django, Apache Spark, PostgreSql, React, Redux and more. Additionally, I have also worked in a fullstack role, including frontend development, during my time at Purpledecks where I heavily utilised React & Redux. I am currently pursuing a Barrister at Law degree at The Honorable Society of King's Inns, which I hope will allow me to occupy a new role in the future that will afford me the opportunity to utilise both of my distinct skillsets in the technology sector.
