Previously an executive within TD’s Operational Risk Management group and held senior roles within TD's Legal Department, where I: advised the board of directors, corporate secretary, and senior management on corporate governance, and disclosure matters; maintained legal responsibility for TD's $40B global funding program (debt, equity, and securitizations); led the annual proxy circular and shareholder meeting process; led the legal review, negotiation and successful execution of strategic M&A and commercial transactions; and managed a roster of external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions. Also led TD's shareholder relations program. Other experiences include working on large-scale transformations and projects, overseeing regulatory remediations, and acting as secretary for various executive committees.
