About Rory Lynch

I am a passionate Analyst, being driven by a desire to make a meaningful contribution to improving business processes. My greatest strength is my work ethic, always going above and beyond in my pursuit of a task to ensure completion. I have excelled in gaining analytical competencies and a strong commercial awareness and business acumen through my degree. Time and time again, I have proven myself to be able to adapt my communication style to different audiences, while being able to do so using a variety of mediums, across written, digital, and oral formats. Finally, I have strong technical skills across the Microsoft office suite of apps, undertaking various training courses and passing to achieve certification in applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In terms of my competencies, I have a strong academic record, having gained the Ulster EDGE Award, the Belfast Telegraph Digital Award for Excellence Trophy in 2022, and the Dean’s Award 2019-20. I have a keen interest in History, being analytical in the sense that I like to see something that happened in the past and seeing all the decisions and causes, and being able to use this knowledge to help inform the future. I enjoy reading about History in my free time and watching many documentaries. History was one of my favourite subjects in Secondary School, winning an award for being the Second Highest in all of Northern Ireland in my AS Levels, getting 100% on both exam papers.
