From my strategic position behind the scenes, I’ve ignited a passion for healthcare in myself and help it flourish in new ways. I’m a business leader and change agent bringing 20+ years of strategic planning and execution that has shifted the paradigm for models of patient care and payment reform. Driven by the absolute need to evolve or die, I’ve helped healthcare systems adapt to change in major and minor ways that keep them from falling behind. These changes, while not always rapid, have resulting in market-disrupting, innovative and cutting-edge patient care programs. Apart from the healthcare providers who create groundbreaking procedures or new bio-molecular discoveries, I make my difference working on the business administration side and have become a medical-specialty operations expert, helping usher change by blending Lean Six Sigma quality methodologies with the unique rhythm of busy healthcare organizations. I’m a disciple of good project management principles, certified in Six Sigma methodologies and creator of a continuous improvement culture that generates improved processes and above all, excellent patient outcomes. My advocacy for community and senior care have led me to design and pilot unique hospital-at-home programs, to achieve length-of-stay reduction, early discharge, discharge process optimization, and more.
