About Rory McLeod

Rory brings to the table 20 years of experience in drilling operations management including planning and developing enhancements to drilling programs and processes across Canada, with a reputation for being a solid influence as an Established Oil and Gas Industry Leader and Engineering Technologist. He strategically collaborates with key personnel, contractors, and stakeholders for the improvement of operations to achieve business objectives. Rory was born in Singapore and presently resides outside of Ottawa, Ontario. He enjoys the travel required for the job and the crew he works with. He enjoys meeting and working with different people at all times. He appreciates the constant challenges and the complexity in the industry. He believes that there is so much to learn and that it can be different every day. On an educational front, Rory has completed Power Engineering 4th Class, Petroleum Engineering Technology and is pursuing a Diploma in Computer Programming. He has continuously developed himself by attending various trade-related courses and training. A few of the key skills that Rory brings forward include leadership, coordination, organization, and excellent communication skills. He strongly believes that success depends on the value of strong working relationships, built on integrity and mutual respect. Rory continues to be focused on improving his position as a reliable supervisor, developing his cutting-edge skills in project management and supervision.
