About Rory McPeake

I graduated from Queen's University Belfast (MPharm) in 2011 and completed my pre-registration training at Rosetta Pharmacy, Belfast in 2012. I registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland and began gaining community pharmacy experience as a self-employed locum.I relocated to the Isle of Man in February 2013 where I registered with the GPhC and began working initially as a relief pharmacist for Clear Pharmacy, and shortly after was offered a position as branch manager at Clear Pharmacy Port St Mary. My role involved prescription dispensing, provision of community pharmacy services (EHC, Minor Ailments, MURs, NMS, supervised consumption), staff training, residential home pharmacy service provision, stock management and sales.In my current role as Supervising Pharmacist at Boots ROI I am responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the all pharmacy operations. Services provided include vaccinations, methadone, sore throat testing, diabetes and asthma risk assessments, 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and EHC.
