I am a Partner in the Property and Projects team at Hall & Wilcox in Melbourne. I specialise in Planning and Environment have a broad range of experience and involvement across all areas of planning approvals, with specialist expertise in major residential and commercial in-fill and growth area development proposals, infrastructure planning, compulsory land acquisition, retail planning, prosecutions and enforcement and work for both the private and government sector. I regularly advise clients in planning merits and risk, regulatory compliance and potential enforcement issues associated with major infrastructure and development proposals and have a strong understanding of technical issues associated with both small and large projects, including navigating architectural and functional layout plans, applicable planning controls and policy, and advising on planning impacts and constraints, including matters relating to geotechnical, water flow and quality, land reclamation, native vegetation offsets, cultural heritage and bushfire risk. I regularly appear as a solicitor advocate before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Planning Panels Victoria and the Magistrates’ Court.
