About Rory Rees

As a CPA I am currently working as a manager with EY LLP. At EY I have the pleasure of gaining experience auditing Aviation, Mining, Real Estate and private clients, as well as working on personal tax fillings. At EY I work with both public and private companies, performing audits under PCAOB, IFRS, and ASPE accounting standards, as well as audits of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Prior to EY; I worked in banking for 5 years in various roles with VanCity Credit Union from call centre experience, to loan and mortgage underwriting and even managing personal and business accounts within a branch working directly with members of the credit union. I am also a College Pro alumni with multiple years running a franchise under the window cleaning division. I started the franchise out in a new geographic area and built it to be successful over the time I ran it with multiple teams working for me. I received many awards while working with college pro and gained first hand knowledge on running and operating a business that has been valuable for all my client interactions to date.
