About Rory Sidey

A highly motivated and multi skilled leader who has experience across a number of different fields. I strive to excel in everything I do and have already managed to achieve numerous life goals within my sporting and professional career. Continual learning is extremely important to me and I love to surround myself with driven, talented individuals. I undertook my studies whilst playing Professional Rugby in different Countries and different States across Australia. I ultimately became a qualified lawyer in early 2014 and have since worked as a lawyer in private practice. I am also a perennial entrepreneur and have recently founded Menda Software, a legal tech startup that is set to transform the conveyancing and legal industry. I previously founded a company whilst playing professional rugby manufacturing and selling flat brim and snapback caps called RJStreetwear. RJStreetwear secured licenses across the majority of Super Rugby teams and sold thousands of products during its life. Starting my first business was a great challenge for me and was undertaken as a learning experience in my spare time whilst my primary focus was on the rugby field. I enjoy challenges, keeping busy and most of all testing my abilities. Rugby has been a great experience that has taught me more than just how to perform on the field. It has allowed me to increase my leadership skills, problem solving ability and, most importantly, the ability to manage and work within a team collectively aspiring towards a single unified goal. As a developing professional, Rugby has provided many fond memories but the real excitement lies in the opportunities ahead.
