I'm an editor and writer working in architecture media. As Editor at MVRDV, I help to shape the firm's communication and currently play a strong role in transitioning the firm's PR team from a traditional PR outfit to one that operates more like its own publishing house. Prior to this I was managing editor of ArchDaily, the world's most visited website for architects, where I developed a keen understanding of the needs and interests of architects as an audience, a strong sense of how the architecture media industry works (and how it ought to work), and a killer instinct for optimizing content for a variety of different purposes. My interests lie especially in investigating how the way that architecture is disseminated—which forms of media are used to present it, the platforms on which it is hosted, and so on—might alter the architecture that is designed in the future.
