About Rosa Hamilton

For as long as I could remember I've had a love for animals. From my father building his pet and farm supplies business from the ground up and maintaining quite a popular presence with the farming community, to owning dogs and cats of our own my entire childhood. I followed my passion through to college and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant. I worked at a reptile zoo for my work placement, and continued working in the animal care field preceding convocation. After some time due to unforeseen circumstances it was necessary for me to consider a career switch. I will always have my passion for animals and I hold on to that in my current work as a pet sitter. I am currently a computer programming student at Algonquin College and have learned a lot about the tech industry through college. I am also a bit of an autodidact and have been learning several programming languages and frameworks in my spare time. Pet sitting is more part time work and I am currently on the lookout for more concrete career pathways in the tech industry. Currently considering a career in IT, web design or game development.
