My greatest strengths are my adaptability/flexibility and my ability to learn complex systems quite quickly. This has been exemplified in my position with Life Directions Employment: Promoted to Data Management and Database Solutions from Data Assistant in under five months Learned Employment Ontario's extensive reporting expectations in under four months to effectively submit current and back-reports so our KPIs accurately reflected the team's efforts Learned and regularly completes our AP process to ensure the formatting is correct for reporting to receive the appropriate reimbursements Works with the team to design new workflows and tools to make their jobs easier and more organized Creates documentation for processes and workflows collaboratively to ensure consistency throughout the team and improve organization Helps to create and document policies and procedures to protect the organization, staff, IP and internals, and job seekers I am very friendly and easy to get along with, and have made some really great connections with my coworkers and our community partners because of this, which benefits our job seekers because they have access to more resources and programming. I can learn any program and system within a short amount of time with or without guidance. If it is needed, I can help to redesign and document processes to help with efficiency, information storage, and ease of use to benefit and protect the organization, specifically to reduce training budgets/time for new staff and ensuring all records are meticulously kept to make reporting easier with a lower risk of being audited. In my spare time, I continue learning and practicing Nishnaabemowin and translate songs and kids' books into my language, I am planning and researching for a large traditional/companion plant garden, and spend time with my two cats.
