At the start of 1993, casino business was then introduced in my hometown, which pave way to a career I have come to love, enjoy and live without. Casino Life and Career: I have been in the Casino industry for 3 decades, • Jun 1993 started as Dealer in Subic Bay Resort and Casino (SBRC) also known as Legenda at SBMA. Left the company in Feb 1996 with Pit Supervisor position. •Feb 1996, first overseas opportunity as Pit Manager until July 1998 as Gaming Shift Manager in Andaman Club in Thahtay Kyun Island, Ranong Thailand. •Oct - March 1st casino set-up project as Gaming Shift Manager in Dansavahn Nam Ngum Lake Resort, Laos. •March - Oct took a job as Pit Manager in Golden Crown Casino in Poipet while awaiting another set-up project. •Oct - Oct 2003 full set-up project in O-smach Resort and Casino in Surin, Cambodia as Gaming Shift Manager. Formed a set-up team of 4 with 2 Pit Managers and a Supervisor. Trained more than a 100 Cambodian Dealers hired more than a hundred Filipino Gaming employees from Supervisor to Shift Manager Position and set-up more or less 50 tables for casino operations, 2nd casino set-up •Dec 2003 - May 2012 formed the Casino operations set-up and training team, hired Gaming employees from different countries, set-up the training of employees and then comes the legendary opening of Sands Macau. Worked my way up from Gaming Shift Manager level then promoted to Assistant Casino Manager, 3rd Casino set-up After 16 long years working overseas, I was finally back in the Philippines embracing a challenge and an opportunity of a lifetime. •May 2012 - June 2016 worked as VP of Table Games in Solaire Resort and Casino, the 1st Integrated Resort and Casino in Entertainment City in Paranaque, 4th Casino set-up since year Completed the set-up from hiring staff in different provinces and countries, training gaming employees, coordinate with PAGCOR and set-up the Casino with over 500 gaming tables and various system to full operation. •Aug 2018 - March 2020 as Casino Manager in OG VIP Club Boracay, Casino, 5th set-up project. •June 2021 - Oct 2022 as Director of Table Games in Nustar Resort and Casino, Cebu. 6th casino set-up that required more effort than the previous property. Started from procuring all the equipment needed, hiring staff, preparing for training, coordination with PAGCOR Monitoring Team and Gaming Licensing Development Department.
