I am open to a role as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Customer Service role that allows me to travel locally or worldwide and maintain a hybrid or remote work environment. I am driven by results and having incentive goals matches my personality to be successful and be of service. I have a diverse background in the travel, tourism, hospitality and transportation industries. Sales and service are my strong skills. Coaching and mentoring others in my organization is my passion. I really believe my purpose is to teach and uplift. I am a natural leader with a soft and confident manner that puts people at ease. My philosophy is that there are no mistakes, only learning experiences and that nothing is unfixable. Working my way up the corporate ladder for North America's largest bus manufacturer, I held many roles from receptionist, Field Sales Rep, International Sales Manager and Accounts Project Manager. I supervised a staff of 23 inside and remote employees as well as 50 contractors. I developed my expertise in contracts and negotiations and discovered my talent for sales and marketing. I won the President's Award for Top Sales for all 4 years it was awarded. In 2013 I entered the Travel Planning Industry. Working as both as a retail sales agent in a storefront and as a Small Business Entrepreneur as an Independent Travel Agent working remotely from home I gained valuable people skills. I've mentored and coached 21 Outside Sales Advisors to develop their business skills to increase sales. I was awarded Top Travel Agent for 2017 and 2018. Currently I design custom tailor made travel to Europe. The combination of my depth of knowledge of the destination as a traveler to all European countries and through training programs, I have a unique ability to match clients with an experiences that suits their vision for the trip. I'm comfortable and at ease making presentations to clients, suppliers and internal departments of all management levels. Crafting interesting and comprehensive written reports and content for publications, email campaigns and social media is something I love. I am driven by responsibility to exceed the expectations of my clients, my company and myself. I am a very positive person who looks on the bright side of life. I'm always learning and working towards fulfilling my potential. Being happy is more important to me than being right.
