About Rose Lusk

I have been a RN for 25 years. My career has covered oncology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, wound care, PTSD, surgery, bedside procedure assistance, home health, physical rehab, home health.Being a patient or/and family member is tough. Often times the diagnosis is less the positive. Along with the physical requirements it's so important to meet the psychological and spiritual needs of the patient as well. One of my main goals each day is to make them smile and hopefully laugh. If that can be done it makes their time a little less traumatic and gives them hope for a better outcome. Having been the patient, family member at the bedside and being the nurse gives me a unique perspective on patient care. I take these experiences and use them to grow and improve my care giving.God gives us so many opportunities daily. He has blessed my in many ways and especially my career. Now I have been certified to take care of heart pump patients and earned my rehab certification (CRRN). I look forward to grow not only professionally but personally and spiritually.
