About Rose McCarty

I’ve spent years (since 2007) traveling all over the country working in a wide variety of industries (marine, utilities, water treatment and transmission, gas and oil, to coal) as a NACE 3 inspector (#14237). Prior to that, I was a professional rescuer starting in (certified thru 2020) and worked in elementary education. I finished my EMT (March 2014) at NCTI Roseville. I’ve worked on various types of projects from oil refineries, USNavy aircraft carriers/shipyard, utilities, pipelines, coal, and various power plants etc. I am currently working as a Regional EHS Manager I for FD Thomas. I plan to add to my safety and medical knowledge through continuing my education, broadening my skills down every avenue possible in order to make myself a better team member. The experiences and the skills I've learned during my diverse work history have given me a strong foundation for building upon, learning everything I can from our leadership and field crews. I also have the knowledge and the forethought to see possible issues or safety concerns before they arise on industrial work sites, commercial locations, to medical facilities.
