About Rose Taylor

With over 10 years of experience in the Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) sector, I have worked across various roles and settings, including residential care, crisis response, and case management within foster care, aftercare, and semi Independent Living (SIL) programs. My experience spans both regional communities and major cities, providing me with a broad understanding of the sector’s challenges and opportunities. Currently, I serve as the Manager Casework for the Family-Based Care (Foster Care) program at Life Without Barriers in Newcastle. I am deeply committed to family-inclusive practice and achieving permanency outcomes for young people while strengthening the connection between the OOHC sector and the NDIS. As a leader, I take pride in fostering a motivated and high-performing team. I focus on understanding what drives each team member, supporting their professional growth, and ensuring we meet key performance indicators while delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families.
