About Roseanne Field

I am currently editor of The Selfbuilder, published by netMAGmedia. I have an Upper Second Class Honours degree in BA(Hons) Magazine Journalism and Feature Writing from Southampton Solent University. During my time at university I was a sub-editor and feature writer for The HYPE magazine, a publication produced by the second and third years on the course. I have so far had the opportunity to do a week's work experience on the fashion desk at The Daily Telegraph, a week at etc Magazine and The Chichester Observer and six months at What on earth? magazine. I spent a month in summer 2012 fact checking and updating The Bowel and Bladder Handbook for Mark Allen Group in preparation for 2013 publication. I also attended the PTC Magazine Academy Live at City University London, and submitted an entry in 2012 for their annual competition. I have also contributed to The Backbencher's Culture section and worked with the Culture team to create a new site - Small Talk. In June 2012 I obtained a grade A in NCTJ Media Law: Court Reporting. In June 2013 I passed the NCTJ Shorthand exam at 60wpm.
