Presently working as Senior Technician at Tarapur Atomic Power Station, NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India) Maharashtra Site since January 2004 till date and as Technician at Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant -3 & 4 from June 2002 till January 2004 I was part of the group which successfully completed the commissioning and synchronization activity of Tarapur Atomic Power Plant 3 & 4 540Mwe PHWR reactor before estimated time. I have also participated in over 18 Bi-Annual Shutdowns completing the assigned job with in planned time following all the Procedures and with Safety features and within planned radiological dose limit. I have supervised jobs involving Contracts personnel inside and outside Reactor building in a safe and efficient manner adhering all the procedures. Throughout my career, I have carried out various Job activities in Radioactive and Non- Radioactive Areas such as installation, preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance,Troubleshooting and Calibration on various Process Control Instruments including Pressure Switch, Pressure Transmitter, Pressure Gauges, Flow transmitter, Flow Indicating Switches, Level Switches and Level Transmitter and Temperature, Control Valves, Transmitters, On Off Valves, Solenoid Valves, etc … And activities at control room such as Trend Monitoring and Signal Conditioning of various Field Signals such as Potentiometer Signal, LVDT Signals, Field Devices Signal, etc. Loop checking of various field signals at Marshaling junction box at field and at control room and its troubleshooting by referring schematics,Engg drawings, control circuit drawings etc. Performed job in a Safe Manner and according to Company’s Safety Standards by using Proper Tools and Equipment and Procedures and following codes and practices such as 3 way communications, Pre- Job Briefing, Post- Job Briefing, JIT (just in time), FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) policy, highlighting the Corrective actions needed to improve the reliability of instrumentation and to minimize production loss.
