I am Roshan Kumar Roy. A Young dedicated Technical Professional having 12 years of experience in the field of Operation & Maintenance of Thermal Power Plant. Presently working with JIL as Manager-O&M. I did Energy Auditor, BOE, PG Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engg. from NPTI & B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg. During my 12 years of experience I have executed & perform the following tasks-Raising PR for material and services-Maintenance cost optimization through new vendor-Operation & Maintenance of Boiler and Turbine-Cold, warm & hot start-up of boiler and turbine-Handling emergency & black-out condition-Working on SAP S4 Hana, Microsoft Office etc-Preparing DGR, MIS and internal audit files-Ensuring 24X7 steam supplies to Distillation, Fermentation, Liquefaction and Dryer section without any abnormality like pressure and temperature fluctuations-Optimizing power and steam demand of process side to minimizing the losses due to steam flare or high electricity bill from electricity board-Supervising and Maintaining the Water Chemistry of Boiler and Cooling Tower-Giving suggestion and executing any modification in boiler-Ensuring equipment healthiness and availability in proper coordination with the maintenance team to minimize losses due to breakdown-Monitoring and controlling the key parameters during the normal operation and start up condition-Coordinating with the maintenance team for maintaining the boiler and turbine side auxiliary equipment as per Preventive Maintenance Schedule-Submission of all documents including protocols, modifications & work description in a project report-Operation & Maintenance of Pulverised fuel fired boiler, WHR Boiler, AFBC boiler and Tail Gas fired -Operation of boiler with PLC panel, PLC SCADA make of ABB, Honeywell, DCS make of ABB & Honeywell-Refractory works of Boiler-In-bed coil, water wall and supper-heater tube replacement-Refractory dry-out, alkali boil out and steam blowing-APH tube replacement and various other power plant related works
