As a Staff accountant at PADGETT BUSINESS SERVICES®, I prepared and managed tax returns, financial statements, and accounting entries for various clients, using billing and invoice software and adhering to internal procedures and standards. I also supported the accounts payable and receivable employees and assisted with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. I have a postgraduate degree in accounting from Camosun College and a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and finance from University of Mumbai. I have also obtained certifications in advanced Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP 9, which demonstrate my proficiency in data analysis and accounting software. I am passionate about learning business concepts and applying them to real-world scenarios, such as investing in mutual funds and stocks.
