About Roshni McCartney
I am a systems thinker with a background in arts administration and social impact. My undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Social Innovation helped me understand the big problems we face in the world, especially in topics like poverty reduction and childcare access. I'm also pursuing an MSc in Data, Inequality, and Society from the University of Edinburgh, focusing on social impact for women's workforce participation. Eventually, I'd like to pursue a PhD in Transdisciplinary Studies! I've been incredibly lucky to take part in several programs that helped me refine my skills in entrepreneurship and public speaking, including- Map the System Mount Royal (2021/2022)- The Catamount Fellowship (2022)- BUILD through Apathy is Boring (2022)- Students as Change Agents (2024)- Venture for Canada (2025) I am a huge proponent of staying informed on what's going on in the social impact space, and would love to chat with anyone who'd like to discuss social innovation, social impact, and social entrepreneurship.
