About Ross Benson

Early in my education, I completed 9 GCSE's (Grade 4-6), AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting at Lincoln College (Grade, Merit).Business Studies at Lincoln College,(Grade: Distinction*, Distinction, and Distinction, equivalent to A*, A, A and 152 UCAS Points). My dedication and abilities were recognised with the Business and Education Student of the Year award in my final year. My academic journey has been diverse and challenging with losing my mother during my exams in 2022 at the age of 18. These achievements and determination secured me a place at the University of Sheffield, where I am currently studying Business Management BA. In my first year, I completed modules: Analysis in Decision Making, Management Themes and Perspectives, Business Economics, Introduction to behaviour at work, Accounting and Finance and, Business Management in context. In my second year, I selected two optional modules—Business Intelligence (67%) and Business Statistics(72%). Additionally, I completed four core modules: Business Strategy (64%), Essentials of Marketing (50%), Principles of Operations Management(68%), and Organisational Behaviour(56%). As for my third and final year, I have chosen modules that reflect my career interests in Business Analytics: International Marketing (63%), Decision Sciences and Optimisation (TBC), International Business (TBC), Strategic Organisational Crisis Management (TBC), and New Venture Creation (TBC). My core module for this year will be Corporate Social Responsibility (71%).
