About Ross Bowyer

I joined the team in late 2019 with considerable management experience acquired mainly in engineering and manufacturing organisations ranging from complex global businesses to indigenous SMEs. I am responsible for the financial management as well as providing back-room support to the team. I am particularly strong in identifying and managing business critical success factors, focusing on key issues and managing transformational change to achieve strategic improvement. Upon leaving school I joined a firm of Chartered Accountants in London but soon moved to industry to join a client company involved in the design and manufacture of power supplies and other manufacturing test equipment. There, I held various positions in factory accounting before being appointed the Manager of Cost Accounting. During this time I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and later as a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Career progression took me to Cambridge Instruments, a leading-edge semiconductor equipment manufacturing company. Cambridge joined with Wild Leitz, a Swiss-German company and Leica Inc. was formed. I held various positions including Factory Financial Controller, Regional Sales Controller and Divisional Finance Director, living in Switzerland for some years.
