About Ross Brown

By day, I'm a technical writer and editor with more than 25 years of experience in the hi-tech and telecommunications industries. I have written online Help, PDF and paper manuals, and Web-based tutorials. I have edited end-user documentation, corporate press releases, and marketing material. I have also written and edited corporate style and writing guides. By night (and when I can get a moment to myself), I'm a blogger and author: my novel,"Songsaengnim: A Korea Diary," is available in hardcover, paperback, and e-book formats through Amazon, Chapters-Indigo, Barnes & Noble, and other fine online book stores. Specialties: Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong editing and desktop publishing skills; sound knowledge of technical writing processes, including project management; documentation styles and structure; researching skills: ability to analyze developer specifications and produce end-user documentation; instructional skills, including training and delivering presentations; strong interpersonal skills: I work well on a team, but can also focus independently.
