About Ross Budreau

As a past mental health nurse and medical school graduate, it is my goal to further my education and experience to best serve individuals with a variety of mental health struggles. I hope to build upon my many years as a nurse to foster a therapeutic alliance between myself and patients. I strive to engage in effective communication techniques, build rapport, and provide necessary and level appropriate explanations of potential treatment options. A therapeutic alliance rooted in trust and collaboration is essential for a patient to make informed decisions about their mental health and treatment plan. Areas of particular interest include: LGBTQIA2S+ mental and physical health, advocacy and destigmatization of mental health disorders and treatment, and promoting equity in mental health services for all people.
