I am an attorney with Winston & Strawn's litigation team. My practice focuses mainly on complex commercial litigation and investigative matters, including class action defense, professional liability, and responding to government investigations. I have extensive experience addressing claims of consumer fraud, whether cast as a violation of state consumer protection statutes, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, or common-law torts. My matters frequently involve issues of federal preemption, including FDA regulation of health-related claims on food labels and dietary supplements and federal regulation of consumer bank fees. I have handled several cases alleging housing and lending discrimination. Clients also consult me while conducting M&A due diligence for my expertise in consumer advertising litigation.
