About Ross Davidson

I'm a lawyer qualified in England and Wales, based in Hong Kong, specialising in personal tax and private wealth structuring. My clients include high and ultra-high-net-worth families, investors, executives, their businesses, as well as their professional advisers and service providers, such as family offices, trustees, private banks and charities. With almost 12 years of experience gained from working in City law firms in London, a Big 4 accountancy firm, and a Swiss private bank, I have developed strong technical expertise in international tax, trust law and cross-border estate planning. This includes in relation to tax investigations and disputes involving estates and family trusts. In addition to my technical expertise in tax and trust law, I have maintained a broad legal practice catering for the diverse needs of private wealth clients. This often involves leading or working alongside other lawyers and advisors to assist clients with their complex wealth planning, family or business related projects. I am a multilingual lawyer (English, Mandarin and Italian) who is familiar working across both common law and civil law systems. I often act as a single point of contact for internationally mobile families requiring coordinated global advice, for instance, when relocating or investing abroad. I work with clients from all over the world but I have a particular interest in advising Asian families with some UK connections and expatriate families based in the Asia Pacific region.
