Background

About Ross Deming

Expert developing signal processing algorithms for sensor data, and software development in MATLAB, Python, and PyTorch to implement Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to radar and infrared data and imagery. Details include: • Machine learning for target identification and false alarm mitigation in radar and video. • Modeling and simulation of electromagnetic data, phenomenology and signals, systems engineering and trade studies. • Signal processing for radar: o Airborne radar including synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and ground moving target indication (GMTI). o Millimeter-wave imaging for personnel screening and concealed weapon detection (cylindrical scan, sparse array, bi-static systems). o Calibration and imaging using small, low-cost, radars, and troubleshooting experimental setups. o Sensor fusion combining millimeter-wave sensor imagery with infrared and acoustic imagery. o Ground penetrating radar (GPR), low-frequency electromagnetic induction for geophysics applications.
