I am an experienced executive who has successfully delivered in leadership roles across operations, commercial, technical and business development aspects of the energy sector for 30 years. I have a demonstrated ability to forge a vision, set direction, form a plan and mobilise teams to deliver. I am also passionate about establishing a performance culture based on metrics, including a paramount focus on safety. Framing of complex issues and driving effective solutions are two of my specialist skills, which require an in-depth knowledge of energy markets, participants and drivers. I also have deep experience in all facets of the upstream industry and a demonstrated ability to link between strategic, commercial and technical elements to drive maximum value for the business. Accomplished at engaging effectively with directors and senior executives on strategic issues, I have the drive and determination to meet and exceed goals, which has been demonstrated in my high level of performance in senior and executive roles throughout my career. I hold several qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and an MBA from the University of NSW.
