About Ross Feinman

My passion and focus encompasses the utilization of efficiency and quality measures such as change management, meaningful data, PDSA/PDCA, RCA and FMEA’s to improve processes, identify areas of vulnerability and opportunities for improvements in order to promote patient centered care and staff safety. Currently at North Shore University Hospital, my team supports the Quality, PI and Safety measures of North Shore's Heart Hospital, Telemetry Services, Transplant, ECMO, VAD, Critical Care and Emergency Department. Collectively, we carry out the mission of this CMS 5-STAR quaternary care hospital. For the past 15 years, I have had the opportunity to navigate the Healthcare profession as an EMT, Paramedic, ED Nurse, Flight Nurse, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Professor, QM Coordinator and currently as a healthcare leader in the role of Senior Manager of Quality Management. With the challenges of a dynamic health care system comes opportunities to challenge the status quo. As our nation is plagued with workplace violence that disproportionately affects healthcare workers, my colleague and I have built a workplace violence reporting and prevention program that has not only set the pace for our healthcare system but has been taught nationally at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement National Safety Congress.
