About Ross Goddard

Innovative (check out my patent), collaborative and results oriented technical leader. I am curious and consider myself a life long student. As the Director of Business Systems at Discovery Education, I lead a team of developers and vendors that optimize and systemize the back office processes for the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources. With over 20 years of technology experience and 15 years of leadership experience, I have a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that enhance business performance and customer satisfaction in various industries, including edtech, banking, insurance/annuities, aerospace, and manufacturing. I am passionate about leveraging technology to improve education and empower students, teachers, and parents. I am responsible for developing and integrating a custom eCommerce system that serves all of the Discovery Education product sales, as well as supporting the supply chain management, salesforce/CRM, ERP/accounting, and HRIS system functions. I also direct the product vision for a custom web solution that tracks employees, software, vendors, hardware, and inventory. In addition, I manage the system migrations and onboarding as a result of M&A activity and company growth. I enjoy working with and collaborating with innovative and curious people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
