About Ross Goodwin

After writing and re-writing millions of words, I have spent a lot of time in documents. Most of this time was focused on personal writing, whether short stories or full-length novels. This experience does encompass formal writing, featuring grant proposal editing work as well as online copywriting. I have the ability to dive into massive manuscripts and find miniscule errors, five-hour long sprints of raw editing focus to find a single syntax error buried in mounds of paragraphs. If something written, be it legal, creative, or formal, I have the ability to dive headfirst and immerse myself in the text. Hours pass like minutes for me, specifically when that time is spent tearing apart and repairing complex documents. Whether these complex documents are needed for legal groundwork, a narrative framework for technical applications, or even technical documentation, I can and will throw myself into them and make them as perfect as humanly possible. When it comes to my personal work, nothing but spitting distance of perfect is allowed. More often than not, however, I find that perfection is only achieved once somebody else reads my work. Despite that, I try to 'spit' close to perfect nonetheless. This eye for detail will carry over into any professional realm that needs it.
