About Ross Gower
I am an International Relations & Politics (BA) and International Development (MA) graduate with a keen interest in the European Union, political economy and regional/national non-state identities. During my studies, I wrote essays on topics such as: the Eurozone crisis, EU policy processes, economic voting and the rise of populism. My Undergraduate Dissertation analysed the extent that the Eurozone crisis caused the fall of Spain's longstanding two-party system. My final report for my Master's degree analysed the main barriers people face to volunteering, and policy measures that can be implemented to overcome these. I am currently working in the role of Audience Executive at Defence Leaders. In this role I engage with military end-users, Government representatives and academics across the world.
