About Ross Guinane

Ross Guinane is a senior editor and creative writer working with Hill and Knowlton based at its Dubai office. Prior to his shift to technology writing, he spent a year with start-up positive psychology and well-being platform Infijoy, before which he spent more than six years as an editor and corporate enterprise story teller within Ford Motor Company’s International Markets Group (IMG) communications team. Guinane also boasts over half a decade of magazine work in the GCC, which, as editor, saw his time spent compiling monthly glossy magazine Middle East Car, and weekly publication Car Bazar, luxury lifestyle and cigar magazine Virtuozity, and was an integral member of the team that launched weekly Dubai Metro magazine and website, Read. Having first visited Dubai in 2004, Guinane took on a number of freelancing roles in the region before moving to the UAE full time in 2011. He received his BA in English Literature with Media and Communications from the University of Limerick in Ireland, and an MA in Television and Interactive Content from Birmingham City University, England. Guinane’s passion for creating engaging thought-provoking, and unique pieces of content has ensured he continually strives to find new ways to tell the same old stories. When he has time, he can often be found skiing, scuba- or sky-diving, or most likely exploring different countries with his wife and two young children.
