About Ross Kurinko

Dr Rostyslav (Ross) Kurinko is a highly accomplished sustainability and ESG strategist with over 15 years of senior experience spanning business development, investor relations, corporate governance, and non-financial disclosure. He has led award-winning ESG transformations for both public institutions and multinational corporations. Formerly Director of Sustainability at the largest European railway, Dr Kurinko was instrumental in designing and implementing the company’s inaugural ESG strategy and disclosure framework, resulting in the successful mobilisation of $500 million in climate-linked financing from the EBRD. He is also the founder of Report Adviser and etOso, two pioneering digital platforms providing ESG benchmarking and AI-powered reporting solutions. Currently serving as Global Head of Learning & Consultancy at the London Reporting Academy, he leads advisory and capacity-building programmes for organisations across Europe, Central Asia, and the MENA region. He is a GRI Certified Global Trainer with close working relationships with leading ESG institutions including S&P Global, Moody’s, ESG Fitch, CDP, and Sustainalytics. Combining robust academic credentials – including a PhD in Economic Sociology and a Diploma from the University of Cambridge – with a wealth of hands-on expertise, Dr Kurinko supports clients in-CSRD/ESRS, GRI, and IFRS S1/S2 implementation-Double materiality assessment and climate risk integration-ESG governance and board-level engagement, and development-Investor relations and ESG scoring performance-Integrated sustainability and financial reporting.
