About Ross May

I am a lecturer at Dalarna University, dedicated to delivering high-quality education and research. My current research focuses on algorithmic pricing and the use of multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) to study organisational problems and optimise them through the design of appropriate mechanisms. In the past, my research has included the use of reinforcement learning to optimise the comfort of building occupants, as well as using MARL to analyse and optimise peer-to-peer energy markets for prosumers. Such research focused on and emphasised the role of the chosen methodology in supporting the sustainable development goals related to energy within buildings and building communities.
