I am a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow currently working at Ireland Alloys Ltd. As a business development executive – aerospace division, I am part of a close-knit team striving to expand the new aircraft engine end of life tear down & storage service. Ireland Alloys was established in 1964, based in Hamilton Scotland with a site over square feet. We specialise in buying, processing, and selling a wide range of complex materials encompassing over 300 ferrous and non-ferrous metals with a core focus on nickel and cobalt superalloys scrap. Additionally, within the aerospace sector, we dismantle Aero Engines for scrap and have a certified process for the destruction and secure disposal of time limited critical parts for Airlines, Aero-Engine Manufacturers and MRO Industry. We work to the highest quality standards and our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 accredited quality management systems demonstrate our commitment to excellence. We are an approved supplier to the major world-wide vacuum-melt/air-melt superalloy mills, foundries, and power Manufacturers, servicing aerospace, petrochemical, medical, powder generation. The aim of the end-of-life teardown service is to provide secure storage for redundant / retired aircraft engines before undergoing our meticulous tear down process. All tear downs are undertaken by our team of specialists and are detailed on a report & valuation with mutilation / destruction certification provided. Ireland Alloys Ltd will also purchase the engine components for destruction, with all parts brought in house to be mutilated / destroyed. All items are recorded and photographed with full certification provided. We guarantee that no complete part will re-enter the supply chain.
