Background
About Ross Methven
My work centres on bridging the often-complex gap between industry, academia, and government to drive genuine innovation and impact. Innovation projects frequently stall not due to a lack of ideas, but because of the difficulty in aligning competing priorities across different sectors. I help navigate this landscape, ensuring that high-level strategies translate into deliverable, innovative projects and long lasting mutually beneficial partnerships.I have a proven track record in establishing triple-helix partnerships that secure significant investment, particularly within the Energy, Space, and Defence sectors. I've led the creation of £25m+ innovation investment programmes, formed new coalitions across industry, academia and government and developed new strategic partnerships that drives benefits for all. I am always keen to connect with others who are focused on driving innovation and societal impact. If you are looking to build impactful collaborations or simply wish to discuss the changing landscape of the UK’s innovation ecosystem, please do get in touch or connect with me here.
