About Ross Millen

Feel like you are not getting the results? You are passed down the line, leaving you embarrassed about the never-ending legal fees and poor advice. All you want is the right advice and an accurate cost indicator. Does it take your lawyer weeks to respond to you which impacts your critical business decisions leaving you stressed? You want to feel calm and phone calls returned promptly. Frustrated by the churn of lawyers and want a firm that gets to know your business so you can have a trusting relationship. You are in the right place. At Millens we pride ourselves on being accessible. The lawyer you speak to works on your file. We are a boutique firm of former big end of town lawyers which means you get the right advice quickly and efficiently without the fluff. Our Firm has been going strong for 14 years built on repeat business, so we don’t always charge every time you want to talk strategy. Our clients often tell us they feel like we are part of their business. That comes from having a long-standing team of talented commercial lawyers who are not only technically gifted but can have fun too. What about me? The CEO of Palace Cinemas described me as smart. He said, “Ross has a unique ability to solve problems that others are stumped by”. This comes from 40 years working as a commercial lawyer, partner, then Managing Partner of the firm now known as Norton Rose Fulbright and running my own successful law firm. There’s not much I haven’t seen or solved. “Calming” is another word one accountant used to describe me. With years of experience and making sure I am accessible, this means clients trust my advice.
