I am a very motivated person and I very much love what I do and am always looking foreword to the next challenge or learning curve. Colleges have seen how passionate I am for what I do and would describe me to be hard working, self motivated and with a rather creative - can do attitude. I expose myself to all different activities, ready to learn, expand and understand new topics. Without being afraid to push myself out of my comfort zone in order to develop professionally and personally Currently employed as Mechanical CAD engineer I am responsible for the design of satellite subsystems. Recently, I have undertaken the design responsibility for electrical units at various stages in the design cycle from conceptual requirement capture to taking on manufacturing and procurement based activities. Also, I have undertaken the design of optical instrumentation and optical baffles working alongside straylight analysis engineers to provide inputs and streamline data handling process. I have worked in France for 2 years with Thales Alenia Space and developed strong working relation with my French counterparts. Being involved in service module and payload module subsystem design, including equipment layout with thermal architecture and tubing design within the payload module. Graduating and taking a place at the Surrey Space Centre I was able to apply and build upon my previous experience alongside develop and understanding and appreciation for requirements required within the space industry through the design, manufacture, assembly and testing of CUBESat’s. Carrying out vibrational qualification at Engineering Qualification and Protoflight Qualification. During my degree I had the opportunity to take a year in industry working within the drawing office of a small company supporting the production department for scientific testing instrumentation, maintaining and updating documentation for assembly and manufacture. After being involved as part of the production department creating and maintaining assembly process documentation.
