About Ross Sison

I am a graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering. This is an ABET-accredited degree with a focus on Electrical, Power Engineering, and Renewable Energy, with additional coursework in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering. My background experience and coursework focuses on the application of electronics and electrical power in renewable (or sustainable) energy systems. I'm interested in internship positions focused on the design & development of photovoltaic systems, wind energy systems, battery energy storage systems, material selection & testing for renewable energy engineering as well as internships and job positions for the electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution engineering sector. I was the student project manager and coordinator of a 9-month capstone project which involves the creation and development of a solar-powered vaccine refrigeration system that is designed to support the cold-chain infrastructure in rural or developing areas in northern Uttar Pradesh (State) in India. I'm also the founder and sole-author of the Renewable Energy Future 365 Podcast Show website which is a site dedicated to providing news and opinions on new and upcoming events in the field of renewable & sustainable energy.
