In my work at QUB I am committed to conducting research, training and teaching on the following themes: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training Mental Health and Wellbeing in Sport Global Mental Health Cross-cultural Perspectives on Mental Health and Wellbeing Mental Health in Humanitarian Contexts I am an Association of Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) Peer Reviewed Acceptance & Commitment Therapy Trainer. In 2018 I was made an ACBS Fellow. I am the lead author of 'Acceptance and Commitment Approaches to Athletes' Wellbeing and Performance: The Flexible Mind' published by Palgrave: cutt.ly/CbM2bV4 I was the lead editor of the 'Palgrave Handbook of Sociocultural Perspectives on Global Mental Health' https://link.springer.com/book/10.1057/978-1-137-39510-8 In my Strive2Thrive work I offer specialist clinical psychology support including evidence-based psychological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
