Dr. Rosy Bansal is Asstt. Professor at GSSDGS Khalsa College Patiala and Course Coordinator of B.Voc Food Processing & Engg. and is the Course Coordinator of Certificate Course in Bakery & Confectionary. She has done her Masters and PhD in “Food Processing Technology”. She is NET Qualified & has a Teaching Experience of 15 years. She has worked at various reputed institutes and has the experience of teaching Masters & Bachelor classes in various Food Subjects & allied subjects like Microbiology, Biochemistry, Human Nutrition etc. She has guided various research projects to Masters students. She has published many international and national publications along with book chapters. She has presented papers & posters in national & international conferences. She has been awarded for the posters and presentations. She has been resource person in various Skill Based Courses and in a Seminar on career guidance and Entrepreneurship of Youth at AS College for Women, Khanna & in a NABARD Sponsored workshop on Plant Breeding & Recent trends in Food Processing at GN College Budhlada and has delivered invited talks in universities and colleges. She is also a Member of Board of studies in B.Voc Food Processing & Engineering at Khalsa College Patiala, Member Board of studies in B.Voc Food Processing & Engineering at Punjabi University Patiala, Member Expert Advisory committee at GN College Budhlada. She is a regular consultant of many foods firms. She is also associated with Naturopathy centres and delivers lecture there on regular basis. She has been Invited as Judge at various nutritional programs to evaluate the food recipes. She has participated in various seminars (national & international), conferences & workshops. She has completed various short-term courses in Food Processing & Food Standards from reputed institutes like Thapar University, Punjabi university Hisar & online courses as well. She has also Worked as Senior Research Fellow at Directorate of Wheat Research, Karnal (D.W.R, I.C.A.R. Karnal) under NATP Project of Quality Improvement of Bread and Durum Wheat.
