About Rousell Ferrer

I work as an administrative assistant under the City Education Development Department (City EdD)-City Scholarships Office of the Local Government Unit of Cagayan de Oro City designated as the Focal for Guidance and Admissions. As a government employee tasked to promote the scholarship program and well-being, I ensure that office processes are followed and that the scholars have someone to talk to when they have concerns regarding their mental health. As an educator, I teach subjects such as Group Dynamics, Experimental Psychology. I also mentor and serve as a panelist for the Thesis of our undergraduate students. As a Psychology practitioner, I offer my services as a Psychometrician by helping college students in their Psychological Tests/Scales for their Test Construction class and Undergraduate Thesis. Furthermore, I am engaged in public speaking as I have done several seminars/talks with topics ranging from self-awareness, self-care, effective study habits, well-being in the workplace, and the like. I am an advocate of mental health and well being especially among the youth. I take time to sit down with our scholars and listen to their concerns, connect them to the necessary help they need, and educate them on the importance of taking care of one's well-being which can also help our office in its retention of scholars.
