About Rouzan Shaikh

I’m a postgraduate in Clinical Psychology from St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa (2024), with a strong foundation in child mental health and developmental concerns. I’ve worked at Miracle Clinic, Goa, since October 2024, where I supported children with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, intellectual and physical disabilities, and behavioral challenges through therapeutic sessions, report writing, and sensory profiling. I interned at Antarman Mental Health Services during both years of my Master’s, gaining exposure to clinical interviews, therapy observations, and rehabilitation work at Chaitanya Institute of Mental Health. Additionally, I’ve participated in over 6 psychology-focused workshops on music and movement, psychotherapy, sports psychology, psycho-oncology, and more, building versatile insight into mental health care. My research explored Post-Traumatic Growth and Emotional Maturity in Adolescents from Single-Parent Homes and Subjective Well-being of Adolescents and their Perceived Parental Warmth, Support and Involvement: A Correlational Study, driven by a deep interest in trauma and resilience. I’m currently seeking full-time roles across the UK—open to working with children, adolescents, adults, or in teaching/training roles within psychology and mental health.
