With a proven record of success as a strategic leader in New Zealand’s largest organisations, I possess an ability to see patterns and processes that enable organisational goals to be achieved. Degree qualified with a diverse portfolio career, my broad industry experience,(FMCG, Electricity, Port, Shipping, Telecommunications, Logistics, TV), has enabled me to be successful in a series of challenging IT projects delivery roles drawing on my initiative, innovation, problem solving skills and tenacity. Financially astute and characteristically described as the “trouble shooter” I am an analytical, strategic, and innovative thinker who is driven to deliver solutions. With strong leadership skills and a proven ability to execute; I love nothing better than solving the seemingly unsolvable challenge. Following a sabbatical, I am looking for my next projects management and leadership role. My combination of skills and knowledge led me to be appointed as the Chairman of the AUT Computer, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences over 15 years ago and then as a lecturer.
